Itinerary
Day 1 Tue: Depart Hobart We depart Hobart at 8.00am for views of Hobart and the Derwent River from Mt Nelson. Head west through New Norfolk to Mt Field National Park and Russell Falls. To Lake St Clair and on to Queenstown. Hotel: Silver Hills Motel, Queenstown, 2 nights. Day 2 Wed: Gordon River Travel to the fishing village of Strahan where we’ll cruise the Gordon River. Be amazed by the 1,000 year old Huon Pine at Heritage Landing. Use some free time to relax or explore - enjoy an optional train ride on the West Coast Wilderness Railway or maybe visit the Huon Pine Museum.	Day 3 Thu: Cradle Mountain We travel through Tullah to Cradle Mountain National Park and up to Waldheim and Dove Lake for views of Cradle Mountain. Next we travel to Sheffield, for a wander through this town of murals, en route to Burnie. Hotel: Beachfront Voyager, Burnie, 2 nights. Day 4 Fri: The Nut We make our way to Table Cape for views of Bass Strait, the lighthouse and coastline. On to Wynyard then Stanley for views of ‘The Nut’, an unusual huge promontory. The hills roll on from Irishtown to our next guided tour - Allendale Gardens.	Day 5 Sat: Cataract Gorge We travel east stopping at Ulverstone then we’re off to Ashgrove Farm Cheese Factory for a presentation on cheese making and some delicious product testing. To historic Entally House, via Deloraine, for a guided tour. Back to Launceston, where we’ll visit Cataract Gorge. Just two minutes out of town and you’re surrounded by rivers, a gorge and exotic flora and fauna. Hotel: Mercure Hotel, Launceston. Day 6 Sun: Depart Launceston This morning we'll transfer you to Launceston Airport for your onward flight.
