Fuel surcharge

A fuel surcharge is included in all Spirit of Tasmania passenger fares. The fuel surcharge will be determined by the cost of fuel and is subject to change on a monthly basis.

The fuel surcharge is automatically included into your passenger fare when booking. The current surcharge is $12 per person, per sailing leg.

Note: The fuel surcharge will be based on the published MOPS HSFO 380cSt price and converted based on current exchange rates to $AUD.

Amendment and cancellation fees

Spirit of Tasmania offers several different passenger fare types to suit all needs and budgets from the flexible Flexi Fare to the stricter conditions of the heavily discounted Promotional Fare. See the table below for an overview of the amendment and cancellation fees for each of our fare types.
